Mainly because I have been bored out of my skull, but what's everybody been up to all $timeperiod?
Me? I've been dealing with my mother being home from the hospital, watching some of the Dem convention, and trying to write. Emphasis on the trying part.
What are y'all up to? Anything new and exciting or even boring? This is our offtopic thread, so don't feel like it's got to relate to the general theme of the message board, I'm cool about offtopic threads.

Actually, i've mostly been working towards opening up a store and getting financial backing for a grand opening in October. Working my full-time job and tryin' to do that, and (like Kat), trying to write.

I actually wish I had a job right about now. I'm going slowly out of my mind and attempting to add content to my Reed webpage. Also attempting to write either useful or entertaining things(or both! Both is good!) At the end of August I get to depart back to Portland for my next bit of college. Maybe I should do some rereading of O-chem... Or I-chem... _________________ CATULLUS: Of course. This way people can call Caesar “Commander Cocksucker” out loud and it’s okay, because they’re not the ones calling Caesar a cocksucker, they’re just quoting that wacky Catullus. I can’t help it if I’m the voice of the people. |

Recap starts last November, one week before (American) Thanksgiving:
Voluntarily resigned (read quit or be released) from my drafting job. Looked for a month for another job, and took a job selling sweepers door-to-door. Left that and started working for a ready-to-assemble furniture manufacturer. Wife and kid are doing great, and we have applied for a rescued Corgi.
That really about covers the extent of my life so far. I've been working in a factory since February. By doing this I have lost about 25 pounds so far. |

Hey, no worries, I did it on my friend's php board before realizing that there is a difference in clicking the little button that says "stay logged in" on the login page.
Happens to the best of us. And it only happened 'cause I re-enabled guest posting on this account to see if we'd get anybody saying anything. So far, it's not panned out.

Yeah, but I had originally had that ticked. I just updated Firefox and lost a lot of stuff. All minor since I had backed things up, but I didn't realize that I was no longer logged in and didn't think about it.
*shrug* Oh well, back to our regularly scheduled program. _________________ Karl Browning

Summer math class plus helping my dad move. After summer school's over, I have a job and full-time class schedule lined up (yes, looks like I'll actually be gainfully employed for the first time in four years). |

Hey Doc, whats up with your avatar? He looks like an Asian version of Harry Potter:P
On another note, when are they gonna upgrade the DE website? It's been dead for ages.
Cheers

Well, since this is the off-topic section and I'm bored out of my skull...
"When you see me,
Can you feel me?
Is this a world that you have devised?
Or is it a reality you have twisted?
Do we watch each other
Pausing over pasts unsaid?
Where is the thing you spoke
That brought it all together
Looking to a love unfounded
And to a hate unbounded
Watch the sky above
And see it turn grey
The clouds have come
Our time here is just beginning
It is never over
It only ever starts again." _________________ Mors Principium Est
