POLL: The next generation for the JU RPG

Okay, so with JU2 finally finished, I'm casting about for new RP book projects to write. Right now there's a Lyran sourcebook in pre-production, but how far that goes - and if it'll take another 8 years to finish that - is still up in the air a bit.

So I thought I'd put it up to a vote of the assembly and any random weirdos who happen by. What do you want to see come out in a hypothetical line of JU books?

I'm willing to help write for any of the JAO sourcebooks, though I'd obviously be most comfortable with VR and TRES.

Well, aside from the Lyran sourcebook, I'd be all over one for the TRES Corps, if that wasn't horribly predictable. Heck, since I was in the process of writing a handbook for the Corps website any, it wouldn't be horribly difficult to shift gears a little. Wink

A Maenad one could be interesting later, too, although it would probably be smaller than the other JAO sources.

Yeah. I'd like to see what resources our allies (if we have any left) can grant us, or enemies could hinder us, so maybe a Mundanes sourcebook wouldn't be out of the question?

Just to kick this thread up again: now that we've established the kinds of sourcebooks or other materials folks are interested in, is there anyone in particular who could be contributing stuff towards one idea or another who isn't already?

I don't have any experience, but I'd be willing to provide input to anyone wanting to do a MAUL sourcebook ...

Hell, it'd probably be acceptable to just up and start throwing one together. The actual make-it-a-book parts are comparatively simple alongside that. Even a couple of paragraphs about one aspect or another would be cool to get things started.

Well, I think a B'Harnii sourcebook would be good. It would be interesting to see it through the eyes of the enemy. Know Thine Enemy would be a good quote for it.

I'm sure this is a mortal sin, but i've read all the faqs and the sourcebook is great, but there does seem to be a limit to what can honsetly be created. the Jihad has a host of links out on the web, but the whole universe seems to be 'defined' already.

I'm planning on using the sourcebook as a template for a GURPS Supers campaign i am organizing, but that seems like it is out-of-the-box for what you have running already.

does that make sense?
